What's In My Bag?

I’ve always loved reading/watching “What’s In My Bag” posts, so I decided to do one myself! This bag was a gift from my parents and it’s my to-go everyday bag.  It’s been on many of my travels and it’s my absolute favorite!

Now let’s start off with the makeup!

 

Currently I’m OBSESSED with plum lips.  Trying to wear this look as much as I can until winter is over and so might the trend.  For a very berry plum lip I combine these 3 products together to create a fab plum/purple color.  For everyday I like to use Maybelline’s Baby Lips “Grape Vine”.  It has a very sheer finish & hydrates my lips.  MAC has always made the best lipsticks in my opinion, and every time I wear “Rebel” compliments keep coming my way.  If you haven’t tried it, go to your MAC counter and ask to try on this pretty little number! Revlon JustBitten stains have also been a product I keep coming back to.  I like to use “Crave” as my base before applying MAC’s “Rebel” to make the color last as long as possible.

I usually don’t carry concealer around my bag, but if my eyes are looking a bit tired from an allnighter (thank you college!) I love using Estee Lauder’s Ideal Light.  It’s a highlighter pen I use over my regular concealer.  It gives the skin around my eyes radiance, thus making my look wide awake! I realized I didn’t include a picture of my Sonia Kashuk loose powder, but I do like to carry it around (especially during the summer) since my skin tends to be on the oilier side.  I dab a little of this wonder on the bridge of my nose, chin, and cheeks (the places I tend to get the most oil).

When you go out a lot, it’s nice to smell fresh and clean! Although I do love my perfumes, I don’t like to carry heavy, glass bottles in my purse.  I looove this scent by Victoria Secret.  It is my absolute favorite Victoria Secret “perfume”.  I quote “perfume” because although this is a body mist, the smell LASTS.  It’s lighter than the perfume, but this scent has a bit of a girly musky smell (does that make sense?) & I much prefer the mist to the perfume.  I like to carry this around just when I need a nice refresher.

 

 

Last but not least, the scarf! Right now, the weather is bipolar!  Just a few days ago it started snowing and now it’s warm and rainy.  I like to carry a scarf around with my just in case it starts to get chilly (which it usually does at night).  It was a bit pricy for a scarf (around $30 bucks), but totally worth it.  I’m not very into animal print, but with this scarf it was love at first sight!
